The Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle was first introduced at The Cheltenham Festival in 2016 and is the newest race to feature at the 4 day event. It is a Grade 2 National Hurdle event and has a distance of 2 miles 1 furlong. As the name suggests, the race is open to fillies and mares aged 4 years and older. The top 3 in this  race in 2019 race were priced at 50-1, 66-1 and 40-1, great for EW backers.

Minella Melody

Comes into this race with the best form and is justifiable favourite for the race an will probably win.

Concertista

She nearly won this race last year. needs to improve her jumping, but worth considering.

Dolcita

Is a good value EW bet at 8-1. She was comfortably beaten by Minella Melody last time out. But won her previous race to that by 1

Santa Rossa

Only one run this season and should come on from that. 16-1 seems a generous price for her.
