Royal Ascot 2020

Though this year’s Royal Ascots have been conducted behind closed doors, the audiences have certainly not missed out on the action. With several amazing races already taken place as we round up day 3, we are here to provide you with some of the very best of our chosen highlights.

Day 1 Win For Battash In The Kings Stands Stakes

Its day one of royal ascot behind closed doors this year for 2020 but despite the stands being empty, there has been plenty of action out there on the racecourse. One of the biggest wins of the day, of course, is for Jim Crowley on Battash with the King Stands stakes at his mercy. With unbelievable speed and as great debut at royal ascot, it could not have gone better for the pair with an unbelievable result.

Day 1: Close Finish For Nazeef In the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes

Another memorable moment for day one of the 2020 royal ascot, of course, is the nail-biting finish we witnessed between Nazeef and Agincourt. The race was neck a neck until the very last moments where a photo finish determined that it was, in fact, Nazeef that took home the win in the stakes at this time. With a betting odds at 100/30, this was a horse that many could see winning from the start making for great odds for those watching at home.

Day 1: A Great Start For Ryan Moore And Circus Maximus

Ryan Moore is by far one of the world’s best jockeys in the sport and another win for him and Circus Maximus comes as no surprise to those that have been following this man’s career. With betting odds at 4/1, he was the favourite to win the race with a photo finish between him and Terebellum to take home the win. This was huge for the pair that has seen a vast amount of success in recent years, taking home another victory despite the tough competition.

Day 2: A Win For Sir Busker In The Silver Royal Hunt Cup

With the odds at 12/1 straight out the gate, all eyes were on Sir Busker to see how he would perform in the Silver Royal Hunt Cup and he certainly did not disappoint. With a strong performance straight out of the gate as well as strong position throughout, he raced his way to a first royal ascot win.

Day 2: Ryan Moore 60 Wins At Royal Ascot

The Hampton court stakes were yet another masterclass in the strength and resilience that Ryan Moore and his team have to product ascot winners. With another outstanding performance and a win for the Jockey, this is a total of 60 Ascot winners for him at this stage in his career.

Day 2: Lord North Win In The Prince Of Wales Stakes

Another highlight for us of day 2 of royal ascot has to be the victory for Lord North. With a 5/1 betting odds on different sites as SBO lists, he was certainly looking like the favourite in this race. But with all horses racing at max capacity it was him he broke away from the back of the pack for a clear victory of about 3 or 4 lengths.

Day 3: Mountain Angel Takes The Victory in The Wolferton Stakes

Out of the gate, Mountain Angel on the fair side showed great promise picking up speed from the back to see him take the lead in the Wolferton stakes this year. Yet another one of the favourites to come out on top with betting odds at 8/1 followed closely by Sir Dragonet and Regal Reality.

Day 3 Golden Cup With For Frankie Detorri

For the third year in a row Detorri and Golden Cup Winner Stradivarius see themselves racing to victory. With over a 10-length lead at the end of the race it was a clear win for the pair that are will on their way to become record holders in the golden cup. Being the favourite to win comes as no surprise to the fans of the racing and the result certainly did not disappoint.

Day 3: The 5th Winner Of The Week for Jim Crowley In The Britannia Stakes

The final major success story of day three is the 5th win for Jim Crowley In The Britannia Stakes. With a clear win from Khaloosy, this has been an amazing week for Crowley and is only set to continue as the Royal Ascot continues.
