Also known as Northern Trust Company Novices´ Handicap Chase, this is the second to last race on Day 1 of the Cheltenham Festival. It is a National Hunt Chase handicap race with a distance of 2 miles 4 ½ furlongs. The race is for novice chasers aged 5 years+ with a handicap between 0 and 145. Previous winners have included Tully East, Ballyalton, Irish Cavalier and A Plus Tard.
