On Friday, September 4, 2020, the Kentucky Oaks will celebrate its 146th renewal. It will feature around eighteen horses inside the dirt track of Churchill Downs. Currently banking a non-restricted earning of $360,000, Bonny South is on the third spot for today’s Kentucky Oaks leaderboard. Owned by Juddmonte Farms Incorporated, Bonny South has accomplished six racing games since birth. Her recent accomplishments include a second-place in the Alabama Stakes, fourth-place in Ashland Stakes, and a title in the FairGround Oaks. 

Shedaresthedevil 

Settling in the fourth rank in Shedaresthedevil. She is the daughter of Daredevil, which was bred by WinStar Farm, LLC. Trained by Bard H. Cox and ridden by  Florent Geroux, this filly has earned $401,320. She currently holds the title for the Indiana Oaks and Honeybee Stakes. 

Venetian Harbor 

Venetian Harbor has current non-restricted earnings of $340,000 and takes the 5th spot in the Kentucky Oaks leaderboard. She’s an entry by Rickard Batlas and is ridden by Joel Rosario. She won three second-places, which includes the Longines Test Stakes, Ashland Stakes, and Fantasy Stakes. Her stint in the Las Virgenes Stakes earned her a title. 

Tonalist’s Shape 

Placing 6th in the Kentucky Oaks leaderboard is Tonalist’s Shape. This filly is bred by Sabana Farm and owned by Slam Dunk Racing, Branham, Doug, and Legacy Ranch, Inc. She currently earned $325,715. Tonalist’s Shape was a current titleholder of the Forward Gal Stakes and Davona Dale Stakes. 

Project Whiskey 

Earning at least $238,800, Project Whiskey is ranked in the 7th place for the Kentucky Oaks leaderboard. She’s a filly trained by Robert E. Reid, Jr., and ridden by Jorge A. Vargas, Jr. She had accomplished eight racing games since birth, including titles she won at Delaware Oaks and Parx Juvenile Fillies Stakes. 

Donna Veloce 

Filling-up the 8th place is Donna Veloce. She had earned at least $460,000 and finished four racing games since birth. She is ridden by Flavien Prat and trained by Simon Callaghan. Her accomplishments include a title she won in the Santa Ysabel Stakes and two second-places in the Starlet Stakes and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. 

Gamine 

Bob Baffert and John R. Velazquez are sending Gamine to the Kentucky Oaks, who settled at the 9th spot in the current chart. She is currently undefeated with titles she won at Longines Arcon Stakes and Longines Test Stakes. Her current non-restricted earnings are at $330,000. 

Hopeful Growth 

With a total of $135,000 earnings, Hopeful Growth is at the 10th spot in the Kentucky Oaks ranking. She is bred by Phillips Racing Partnership, ridden by Arnaldo Bocachica, and trained by Anthony R. Margotta, Jr. She placed 5th in the Delaware Oaks and a titleholder at Monmouth Oaks.
